As rumours have it, Google is said to be working on a new dongle nicknamed "Sabrina" which will require you to plug it into the HDMI port on your TV to bring the android experience in the comfort of your living room as seen in a number of TVs like TCL, Sony and recently joined Hisence.
The dongle is expected to come with a Bluetooth remote control equipped with a microphone and a dedicated Google Assistant button to control content, volume and many more with your voice. This comes in hand after the chromecast forced its users for years to use their smartphones as a remote control to pause or skip their shows. To my opinion this was tedious.
Apart from just controlling the dongle, the remote will have the capability of controlling other Assistant-compatible devices like any nearby smart lighting or a central heating system like Google-owned Nest. The remote can also be used to control your TV as a universal remote. Isn't this cool?
Based on leaks posted online, "Sabrina" is likely to cost way lesser than any other Chromecasts, and this means it's going to be worthy to put hands on one since it will cost you as little as $49.99.
